Bidrage med feedbackPrevious reviews have highlighted the spacious and excellent service of this restaurant, but have also mentioned the shabby decor and the cafe's need for some care. The cafe has two plant troughs near the ordering area, but they were empty with only bare soil. It is clear that this is a crucial feature for the community of Holmes Chapel.
I have never been a fan of establishments like this, but while staying in Cranage recently, I decided to give it a try. The pub across the street was a bit pricey just for a lunchtime snack, so my wife and I opted to dine here instead. She had a coffee and a sandwich similar to a BLT, which was delicious and reasonably priced. I took a chance on ordering a hot chocolate, as I find that they are often too dark and lacking in milk at other places. However, this hot chocolate was made exactly to my liking, perfect and enjoyable without needing extra milk to make it more palatable. My chicken Caesar wrap was also very tasty. The experience here has made me a convert to places like this. The staff were friendly and helpful, the toilets were clean, and the decor was pleasant. The chairs were comfortable as well.
I stopped by during a visit to Holmes Chapel and, as usual, the coffee was of excellent quality with a variety of options available. They also had a good selection of sandwiches and pastries. However, the overall decor of the restaurant seemed a bit worn and could benefit from an upgrade, even though the restroom was clean.
Welcome to a unique chain restaurant that stands out from the rest. The restaurant is very clean and has excellent COVID-19 safety measures in place. We noticed they have added some beautiful new chairs since our last visit. Convenient blue parking is available as well.
Coz Busy corner village coffee stop, but sadly neglected by staff. Floors filthy, see our photo, toilets also, we reported them
