Barchetta - Cheshire East

It’s like the food is frozen. The pizza is undercooked. They don’t serve what’s described on the menu. Sauce tastes like it’s from tesco, mixed frozen seafood bag, risotto and pasta over cooked. Mussel shell in food and then 2/3 mussels closed.

Excellent service and excellent food would highly recommend staff are amazing. Been here a few times now and will bring my parents next time as I know they would love it.

Visited on a Sunday evening. Warm welcome. One of our party (of two) is a coeliac. Always a challenge with Italian restaurants. But, they absolutely catered and understood the dietary needs. As they were busy, we ordered some olives and bread to start. Without asking, they catered bringing a gluten free roll. Nice touch if I was going to be pedantic, the olive oil and balsamic dip should have been served in two bowls. But it was very impressive. Mains arrived and both meals were excellent. Dishes were served with hand cooked chips and both options were really well cooked. Not greasy, just flavoursome and tasty! Desserts we opted to share a gluten free (vegan) cheesecake. It was very nice. Overall, really impressed. Service was also good. Would recommend and would return.

We stopped by for lunch today and it was a top notch experience as usual! Great service, cold beer, amazing pastas and all at very reasonable prices. I have tried and failed many times at making a seafood pasta sauce that yummy, so hats off to the chef. It’s a gem of a restaurant and we will no doubt be back soon.
