Bidrage med feedbackThe first time they visit this location. had a demand for a meatball sub. determined to get a few wings too. After I grew up in the northeast in connecticut, I have a high standard for meat balls or mahler. that was the worst I ever had. the meatballs were ok, but almost no soaking and no cheese no taste. they do not want too much sauce, but it should not be dry. it's like they're coming out and eating. Look how little it was! the brot was also terrible. I expected less here in virginia when it comes to Italian brot. not only was it sponge, but it was 5 inches long. the shortest meatball base I've ever had. I had good experiences in the other windy city location. that was terrible. the buffalo wings were tiny, had no taste. it was like they tortured her in Texas pete and called it well. I give them another chance, but that was terrible disappointing.
We had a party of 5 for pre-fireworks dinner on July 3rd and it was pretty empty inside, which made for quick seating and service, which was efficient and very good. The food here is always good to very good, IMO and it was no different this time. We had a variety of dishes ordered from a Greek Salad to Meatball Sub to Deep Dish pizza and not one complaint. We have ordered delivery from here online and on the phone during peak of Covid (and after), and we have done eat-in dining 5 or 6 times. We have always had good to great service and the food quality is always reliably good or better. This is always a good choice when looking for solid Italian food.
Try the corn fritters! I got the sampler of mozzarella planks, corn fritters, and spicy sausage. The fritters had so much flavor. I got a pizza as well. And it was really good, a good amount of toppings and the sauce tasted good.
I always went to the Virginia Beach location because the pizza is good, I like the breadsticks, and we just love the Windy City special deep dish pizza. However, we went to this location because it was closer to us at the time, and we did a take out order, and the shoulder hair length, blonde girl at the desk had told my boyfriend thanks for not tipping. We do not appreciate the rudeness and hostility we were given. We always tip workers when we are being served, but we drove 30 minutes to pick up our own pizza because the delivery was unavailable. If you 're going to go to a location, go to the Virginia Beach location for they treat you well over there. Whoever that girl was she was working 5/15/2022 at 4:07PM.
It has been years since I've had Chicago Deep Dish, and Windy City did not disappoint. The crust was perfect, the sauce was zesty, and there was the perfect amount of cheese on the pie. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $1.50 to get the garlic and butter crust. You won't regret it.
