Metro Diner - Chesapeake

I enjoyed this restaurant so much that I visited twice. On my first visit, I tried the San Francisco Eggs Benedict, and on my second visit, I opted for Chicken Waffles, which I had never had before. The Eggs Benedict came with all the classic ingredients, plus sliced avocado, giving it a nice San Francisco twist. As for the Chicken Waffles, they exceeded my expectations. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried, and the waffles were light and crispy, accompanied by delicious strawberry butter. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely return. I apologize for not taking many photos; I started eating before I remembered to snap some. You really can’t go wrong here—the food and service (Shilah) were both fantastic.

I visited again and had a fantastic experience! Tina was our waitress, and she truly excelled at her job. Even though a large group came in, she managed to keep up with our table and others seamlessly. I ordered the chicken Benedict, and it was incredible. My friend had the chicken and waffles, which came with a huge portion of chicken—she couldn't finish it all! The hollandaise sauce was slightly salty, but otherwise, it was delicious. They were short one waitress, but Tina handled everything like a pro. I was very pleased with both the service and the food today!

My family and I had a wonderful breakfast this morning. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was served hot and fresh. The egg whites and biscuits with gravy were incredible, and we will definitely be returning for more! Our server was fantastic as well. We can't wait to come back!

Love this place. Keeps it simple. Good food, good prices, good quantity, and good service. Not the largest menu but they are good at what they do. Has rotating specials. Serves some alcoholic beverages and lots of different teas. Has an outdoor area. We went for brunch on Saturday and didn’t even wait. Will definitely be back.

Came here on a recommendation to have a birthday brunch with my mom. First time and food was delish and filling. Tina and her trainee were great.
