Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant has a beautiful ambiance. However, the food is expensive and poorly prepared. I ordered the prime rib cooked medium, but the dish served to me was well done and did not resemble prime rib at all. The drinks were good, but all of our food was overcooked. I have had better meals at various other steak restaurants. The bill for four of us came out to over $400.00.
Good food, service, and atmosphere. Not outstanding for the price point, but very good, just kinda standard. Biggest standout was the pork belly perfectly prepared and delicious, a must try on this menu. Fried Brussels sprouts great as well, but hard to get those wrong. Nice bread and amuse of spinach dip on crostini. Extensive wine and whiskey lists, even bourbon flights available we went with a couple of cocktails with dinner and then again with dessert. Black Tai and Mulled martinis were solid, as were bourbon brown sugar and chocolate martinis. Duck and crab cake entrees were tasty and well prepared, although duck could've used more cherry red wine sauce. Apple cinnamon bread pudding for dessert was nice, although for $3 extra the scoop of ice cream was kinda wimpy.Parking: Plenty of parking close by.
The food at this restaurant was not good and extremely expensive. I would prefer to go home and cook my own meal rather than have to endure dining here.
Service was great. Steak was Excellent. Asparagus side dish was great. Salad portion was huge...wish they told us that before we each ordered one. One is definitely enough to share for two, but the dressing and flavor of the salad was bland. That was my only complaint.
I want to start by saying that overall, our experience at this restaurant wasn't terrible. However, when the bill is nearly $200, you expect to be impressed. We arrived early and were seated at a high top table, even though it seemed like there were regular tables available. Our waitress was great, but my cocktail had pieces of mint that I had to keep removing. The she crab bisque had bits of shell in it, and the steak bites and pork belly appetizers were tasty but not unique. Our main dish, the bison short ribs, was large enough to share but lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm, which was disappointing considering the price. We also tried some extra sides, with the sweet potatoes being delicious and the broccolini needing a creamy dressing. I might return to try a steak, but overall, the experience was just mediocre.
