Bidrage med feedbackWe went out for dinner last night and the food and service were excellent! All of our dishes were delicious. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitely be returning to dine here soon and will recommend this place to friends. The owner pays attention to small details and it really shows.
I took my dad for Father's Day and it was awful. We ordered three steaks cooked medium well, but they were rare. When we asked for them to be cooked longer, they came out like hockey pucks. Then we ordered the scallops, but they were raw. The waiter explained that the head chef was not working that day, and they were planning on opening another restaurant. It was a waste of money, I could have gotten a better meal at Texas Roadhouse.
My wife and I recently dined at this restaurant and it was hands down the best meal we've had. Despite the challenges of the COVID pandemic, the atmosphere of this small town, dining outside on the street during a stunning sunset, made it a perfect 10/10 experience for us.
We were very excited to go to one of our favorite restaurants today prime 225 to celebrate the birthday of my wife. our reservation was at 18 o'clock. we arrived at 5:45 a.m. and said that they could sit down, but couldn't give us menus up to 6. but in a few minutes we had water and someone who ordered our drinks. not sure why we couldn't get menus right away, as our table was available? Anyway, everything was great until we decided to order dessert. iwir were told that when we order beignets, they had to notice 20 minutes. So when we were about halfway through our evening dinner, we let the server know that we wanted to be able to dessert. a few minutes went by and she said that frank said that we can't have them because our time to have the table was there. it's 6:45. officially we had been there for 45 minutes since we didn't get menus up to 6. in the round they say that we can only have an hour the table? well, I asked myself to speak with frank and thankfully he did. but for me it was done. I left there with a very bad taste in my mouth. I will probably return for family events if we have bigger parties. but I'm probably not going to bring my wife back. this was a birthday dinner and the server even asked us if we were there for a special occasion. I let her know that it was my wife's day-long dinner. then they tell us, after we're there for 45 minutes, we can't get the one she wanted? I'm sorry, but if that's what they call good eating, the standards have drastically fallen, as I worked in the business. but fortunately there is a lot of competition in the larger philly area. so I'm sure we can find several options in the future
My wife and I were very excited to have her birthday dinner at one of our favorite area restaurants tonight Prime 225. Our reservation was at 6pm. We arrived at 5:45 and were told that they could seat us but couldn’t give us menus until 6. Ok, I found that to be odd but we went with it. But within a couple of minutes we had waters and someone taking our drink orders. Not sure why we couldn’t get menus right away since our table was available??? Anyway everything was great until we decided to order dessert. IWe were told that if we we’re going to order beignets they needed 20 minutes notice. So when we were about half way through our dinner we let the server know we wanted beignets for dessert. A couple minutes went by and she returned saying that Frank says we can’t have them because our time to have the table was about to be up. It’s 6:45. Officially we had been there for 45 minutes since we didn’t get menus till 6. So basically they are saying that we can only have the table for an hour??? Well I asked to speak to Frank and thankfully he did work it out. But for me the damage has been done. I left there with a very bad taste in my mouth. I will probably return for family events when we have larger parties. But I probably won’t take my wife there again. This was a birthday dinner and the server even asked us if we were there for any special occasion. I let her know it was my wife’s bday dinner. Then they tell us after we are there for 45 minutes we can’t get the one dessert she wanted?? Sorry, but if this is what you call fine dining I guess standards has dropped dramatically since I worked in the business. But thankfully there’s a LOT of competition in the greater Philly area. So I’m sure we can find multiple options in the future
