The Boat Inn - Cherwell

After a trip to Blenheim Palace I stumbled upon the Boat Inn accidentally while looking for the nearby and similarly named "Jolly Boatman" restaurant. The

Lovely location, surrounding and a nice place to stop for a drinkBut other than that just stay awayThe staff are evasive, rude and lazy.

Went here on a much needed night out with 5 other mothers and all meals were disappointing.

Upon entering the restaurant, it is clear that both the food and service are exceptional. I am eagerly anticipating my next visit. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.

Great location, nice enough pub, though slightly careworn. Atmosphere is relaxed and staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was poor though looked like it was all straight out of the Brake Bros van and into the microwave/fryer. The descriptions on the menu didn't match what appeared on our (cold) plates. Wouldn't go back. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
