Starbucks - Cherwell

The staff was unfriendly and slow in preparing food. The plates were dirty and the tables were not clean. The soap dispenser in the toilet was hanging off the wall and looked unclean.

Great service, friendly staff and everything I would expect from Starbucks. The store was very busy as it was a rainy Sunday afternoon but the staff were very efficient at serving people and clearing tables so that people could find a seat. Great Chai latte and vanilla latte.

This is a great place to stop for coffee on A34 before joining M40. Easy access though it can’t be seen from very far back so is easy to speed past. Slow down about 3 miles from joining the M40 so you don’t miss it. It’s big with the new dark wood decor. Plenty of seating to have a relaxed break and the usual Starbucks selection. However when we visited on a Monday morning it felt a bit under staffed and didn’t give off that usual “customer is king” vibe

The atmosphere of the restaurant is dark and gloomy. The service for food and drinks is extremely slow (it took 4 people an unreasonably long time to serve coffee and tea). The prices are high and the quality of the food is mediocre. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Upon arriving at the restaurant on our motorcycle, we were disappointed to find that take-away was not an option. Our first impression was that the place was extremely dirty, with food strewn across the floor. Despite there being five staff members present and hardly any customers in sight at 2:30 pm, most of the tables had not been cleared or cleaned. There were no serviettes available, the milk station was unsanitary, the men's restrooms reeked of ammonia, and the women's restroom lacked toilet paper and a functioning hand dryer. Our bill came out to nearly £18 for two sandwiches, a coffee, tea, and a slice of cake. While we don't mind paying a premium for quality food and atmosphere, the conditions at this restaurant were unacceptable. The staff should be ashamed of the state of their establishment.
