Chester's - Chepachet

Chester's is the best. I suffer from food allergies specifically migraines but I never get a headache when I eat at Chester's because the food is so fresh and made from scratch. At lunch there is a soup station that always has the best soups. Other items on the menu that we like: chicken Marsala, scrod francaise and the rt 44 Turkey sandwich. Don't pass this one by if you are in the area. You will be sure to be happy you stopped and there's always a warm welcome.

Was out and about in the area at the Purple Cat Winery and decided to keep it local and try something close. I had the rodeo burger which was covered in cheddar cheese BBQ sauce and onion straws (you know those thin crispy ones...yummm) with a side of fries, I could have gotten the sweet potato fries but I kept it classic. It was a good burger and I have no regrets. Our server was nice, the place was clean, very quiet...it was a Tuesday at about 4pm. Had a bar with Tvs too. Check it out if you are ever in Harmony.

Decent portions, good quality ingredients and a good size menu. We try not to eat here much because we live so close and don't want to burn it out. Good classic inn fare.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and we started with mussels as an appetizer. They were delicious, although I would have appreciated a few more mussels since there were quite a few empty shells. The sauce that accompanied them was fantastic. I ordered a steak salad with the house balsamic dressing, which was really tasty. My boyfriend had a steak with blue cheese garlic butter sauce, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The green beans were a bit disappointing, but overall, the meals were great, and the service was excellent. A big shout-out to Stephanie for her wonderful service!
