Welcome - Chennai

The Ginger Hotel is located in the Research Park near the IIT Madras. I was staying in Ginger hotel for 11 days because I attended a conference at IIT Madras. The people at the reception are nice and helpful. I arrived in the night at 3 am and they were there and helped me in no time to check in my room. The room is clean and has everything what I need for my stay. It has a desk so I could work with my laptop. The bathroom was large and clean and everything was working properly. The price for the room was extremely convenient and the location excellent and less than 5 min from the conference place. The hotel is offering breakfast and dinner. I was eating the breakfast everyday and it was very good. The star of the breakfast was an excellent dosa prepared by Mr Pankaj, who is there every morning and he is expert in preparing dosa. The restaurant managers are very helpful and I met Mrs. Devendra yadav, vineet and sourav during my stay. They always make sure that I have my dosa or coffee and in this way I have a very good breakfast everyday. Thy also have fresh cut fruits for breakfast. The Ginger hotel and the wonderful breakfast make my stay wonderful.

Had a lovely stay at Ginger hotel near IITM. The front desk staff was cordial and the restaurant staff, Chef Pankaj and the manager Mr Yadav are worth a mention for their courteousness. Chef Pankaj went out of his way to put a smile on my daughter by dishing out a Mickey Mouse masala dosa at breakfast this morning. These small gestures go a long way for a guest to consider coming back to ginger hotel, IITM.

Had a pleasant stay and the food was also delicious. The host of the restaurant Mr. Devendra especially was very cordial and friendly, enhancing my experience during the duration of my stay. Room quality, customer service and all was very satisfactory. Will visit again definitely in the future.

The rooms are small in size, but location wise it is good if you are visiting IITM. The restaurant staffs are very friendly and welcoming, I would like to specially mention Mr. Devender Yadav for his warm hospitality and service.

The staff were really polite and the rooms were clean. It is really suitable for business meetings at IITM but not for a family vacation. The place is very much hidden inside the research park building on the 11th floor and even the locals and cab drivers don't know about this hotel at Tharamani. Room #408
