Menu: The menu is not extensive, but offers a mix of South and North Indian dishes. They also have a variety of buttermilk and fresh juices available. Food: I ordered the North Indian thali, Puttu, and Sundal. The Sundal, made from peanuts, was not seasoned with any spices. The North Indian thali was a comprehensive meal with starters, soup, main course, and desserts served separately. Many of the dishes in the thali featured mushrooms, which was a bit unusual. The payasam and banana sweet were delicious. While my dad felt that the food was not as good as it used to be, I was satisfied with the hearty thali. Service: The service was efficient, friendly, and quick. Overall, this restaurant is still a great option for healthy food.
I recently tried their delicious Onam spread, which completely changed my perception of South Indian cuisine. The taste and variety were outstanding.
This new vegetarian restaurant is so good that it has me mesmerized and wanting to go there again and again. It will also be a treat for the fitness freaks as the food they serve are extremely healthy. They are different from other restaurants since they try their best to incorporate ayurvedic benefits in their dishes. This is one of those places that serves both tasty and healthy food. So if you ever want to go to a vegetarian place for a change and still be impressed? This is your go-to restaurant.
The Vishu sadya at Sanjeevanam this year was exceptional. Kudos to the chef for making every dish, especially the mooru kuzhambu and pavakka theeyal, taste so delicious. The avial was above par and the plantain poriyal was also excellent. Every dish stood out on its own. While the inji pulicherry was a bit too sweet, it still tasted good. A great chef is able to make a simple dish taste amazing with minimal ingredients, and this was evident in the cooking at Sanjeevanam. The use of ingredients like jaggery, coconut milk, and coconut were all balanced perfectly and cooked in a simple manner, which is not easy to achieve. The jack fruit halwa and payasam were out of this world.
