The Garden Cafe - Cheltenham

What a delightful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. While the restaurant has implemented social distancing standards, there is room for improvement. All of the dishes we sampled were delicious. However, I did notice that the restaurant could benefit from better cleaning practices, as improper cleaning could potentially spread the virus. I trust that the restaurant will take the necessary measures to prevent any spread of the virus. Specifically, I noticed that the table was not properly cleaned and disinfected. Sarah was especially concerned about this oversight.

The service was excellent! Giles was welcoming and had a great sense of humor. The scones with clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam were absolutely delicious. The silver tea had a lovely floral and fragrant taste with good depth. The outdoor seating was shaded and even though the area was not very large, there were good social distancing measures in place. The surrounding flowers created a beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant is also very dog friendly. I highly recommend visiting Bourton-on-the-Water.

The restaurant has a unique and lovely interior design. The cream tea could use some improvement, and the cleanliness of the restaurant could be better.

An amazing afternoon tea with warm Scones, China cups and saucers, nursing staff and a wonderful dog friendly atmosphere. Tables inside and outside. We were inside and it is nice that each table behave well dogs that were made to feel very welcome. Reliable. We'll be back.

What a Fantastic Find! We stopped at the cafe for lunch on the last day of a motorcycle tour... Food was AMAZING and we were looked after by Giles and the team, complete with local information on the best route home! 5* service, highly recommended!
