Tacos El Paisano - Chelsea

I love what I've always seen as a Mexican food. I could finally try TEP tonight and it was AMAZING! To whom it is important that it is from a gas station, this place is so damn good. I loved the fish tacos and fresh corn tortillas. Thank God salsa was on the side because it has a great taste, or so I think because I lost some taste buds from the heat. Holy cow! I always wanted to try fools, but I was afraid of the unknown. No more, this will be a reason for me. I also have 2 bottles of coke waiting to be tried tomorrow!! Please shoot it. You won't regret it.

What a great place to eat. The food was fresh. Service was great. Real Latin American farewell. We had Pork pastor Tacos, fish Tacos and tried the Tamale. So happy we tried, and we'll be back.

Great little place. This is not a Tex Mex location, so do not expect the same fare you get in your typical Mexican restaurant around BHM. That's more like the tacos you'd get from the Guzman Tacco trucks. The chicken tacos and enchiladas were delicious as the Al Pastor and Wangentacos. The beans (not fried) that came in a small cup on the side were amazing. Not much for ambience, but really good food and friendly service.

Fabulous authentic Hispanic dishes. Both steak and chicken tacos are delicious and also the tamales are wonderful.

Great prices, delicious, fresh, authentic food served by a friendly staff. The tacos, burritos, and breakfast burritos are very good. Salsa can be pretty hot so tread lightly if you don't care for the heat. Very reasonably priced food. Try it....you won't be disappointed!
