The Stables Cafe - Chelmsford

We stopped for a coffee at the dog cafe today. Very slow service and I was also very disappointed to see a server clear up some sick and then proceed to serve drinks without washing her hands! The side that allows dogs was much busier than the side that doesn’t; maybe they need more staff or return to the days when both sides were open to everyone! Regardless, change is required: service could be much improved for timeliness and cleanliness.

The service at this restaurant was very slow. The sandwiches had stale, dry and curled up corners with hardly any filling. I definitely won't be returning!

I believe it is a disservice to the customers when sandwiches are served without butter or spread. This cost-cutting measure may discourage people from returning, especially considering the sandwiches are also quite expensive.

We had a nice walk round the park and then got coffee and cake to take away from the dog friendly side of the cafe. The coffee is always nice and the cakes are amazing it was lovely to be able to but a big dog biscuit as well that was a lovely idea. I have never had anything to complain about whilst visiting here.

Recently visited the cafe with family whilst at the estate. Food was great and the service was good nothing was to much for the lady serving, would happily take my mother there on a day out agsin
