The Bakehouse, Chelmsford

Well presented range of bread and cakes, excellent coffee source from a local roaster, high recommended. Bread is quite expensive so not a regular purchase.

Not as good as it used to be. Food average at best and pricey Very tired surroundings carpet in part or the restaurant looked filthy

Very poor experience. Service was cold ,brisk and unfriendly. Tea and coffee awful Cake was synthetic and other bakery item fell apart and was badly mad with cheap ingredients. Over priced £16 for two hot drinks and cake. Website misleading. Will never go back. I would avoid.

Very nice all round and lovely food, would highly recommend to all and everyone. Worth the journey from Epping.

Great food and great selection, well priced meals and well worth a visit to this little gem in the countryside. Will definitely be back again soon
