Ellis’s Restaurant - Chelmsford

My husband and I both enjoyed our meals at the restaurant. I had the fillet steak, which was excellent, and he had the sea bass, which he described as lovely.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend. The food was delicious, although we did have to send back the prawns because they were not cleaned properly. The service was a bit slow, as we had to ask to order drinks since no one came to take our order. It felt like we had to constantly ask for things instead of being approached to see if we needed anything. However, the staff were friendly, they just need to be more efficient.

The temperature in the restaurant was to cold so the heating should have been turned up.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service provided by Tom is exceptional. I highly recommend this venue.

Due to seasonal weather conditions the heating was off and was inclined to be rather chilly. Overall would recommend to friends.
