El Campanario - CHELEM

My husband Gregg I had dinner tonight El Campanario, what a wonderful experience. We were first greeted by Letty she recommended we set the patio had a beautiful breeze. Next Juan offered us some of the spagetti w/ sauce as an appetizer it was very good. I ordered their speciality the Roasted chicken, it was very tastey and moist, Letty's family receeipe you will not be disappointed. Gregg had the fried fish his portion was huge w/ fries/rice a side salad. It to was very good. They suggested ice cream chocolate sauce for desert Gregg can not ever turn down ice cream. The homemade lemonaide tasted like a Margarita, so very refreshing. We will definately be back recommend you give them a try if you haven't already done so.

Odd the map shows you are near the periferico in Merida? But you say your in chelem?

I had a great chicken dinner. The chicken was juicy !!!!!

We had breakfast there this morning. Had the Huevos Rancheros. Very good. The sauce was spicy and tasty, homemade, too. Price was reasonable. Fruit OJ and coffee included. What we would call good 'ole down home cooking. Going to try dinner next.
