Vin Du Lac Winery Bistro - Chelan

It doesn't matter to me, but if it serves too high a price tag on the food in this environment, then I scream. Even there was the food quality so-so, with the steak on the hard side, and the noodles/ sauce didn't match the prawns. but there was a nice amount and the garnels were very delicious. the wee were of 85-89 point quality, and the $15 wein flight seemed steep if a tasting that would probably have been used to buy would have been the better to go. I don't know the history of the building, but it really has to be reworked to be a workable tasting room that can do double duty as a dining area. I'm probably ready to come back in the summer and make a complete tasting when I can sit outside and enjoy the warmth and the hopeful.

Very poor service when we arrived. We were offered outdoor seating (in October) because a large group had rented the indoor restaurant. We had to help the staff set up the heater and were left with no place setting, no water and no menu. We then were left alone for quite some time before we decided to give up and leave.

Such a nice evening! The venue is outdoors with an amazing lake view. They had live music. Guests at the restaurant included couples and families. We really appreciated being remembered from past visits. It was even remembered that I am a vegetarian and a suggestion made for my dinner that was not on the menu and was delicious.

The shrimp entreewas excellent, but 30 dollars seems a little steep. Oh well, on vacation so wasn’t a concern!

We had to dine inside because of the smoke with the area fires. It was not the same as outside with the lake and surroundings. An issue with the meal was the price of the pasta with shrimp was excessive. The size was medium on the portion and the price at $30 excessive. I felt as did my wife the entrée should not have cost more than $18. We enjoy the food, the outside location and service however the price verses value is not there.. Hope this will be of value to your business as we like most of the factors offered.
