Jung Jong Jeju Black Pork Bbq - Cheju

Great black pig, so good. The food here is top-notch! We also loved the cold noodles. The place is great for groups: the ambience is really great and it is not crowded really to find a jewel and rarely when it comes to food and atmosphere. The couple that runs the restaurant is also so friendly and helpful! Thank you for going out your way to help us find our way back to our accommodation! Please consider a good meal if you can. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The personal is super attentive and beautiful to recommend a good part of the meat for us. English menu available. soft tofu stone is a plus point to side scurry as beautiful as ever.

I tried this place after a solo trip to Jeju and I really wanted to try black pork bbq. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. The one lady who works there, perhaps the owner, was extremely friendly, helped to perfect the meat, they had a locally produced fish sauce that tasted amazingly with the pig. I ordered a 2 person set and could eat it from myself, but I was unable to order or eat the kimchi jiggae or the Naengmyeon, both of which are some of my favorite Korean foods. If you are in Jeju for a holiday, I would recommend trying this place at least once.

Thanks to the young, beautiful and nice owner, we had a great late meal in Jeju. Recommend the restaurant. Will be back if we have chances.

Very hospitable and friendly staff. The lady that tended to us politely tended to us in English and helped us cook their spectacular black pork belly to perfection. She was also able to identify where the three of us were from (Singapore) and we had a pleasant conversation about their restaurant. After paying for our meal, she even offered to help us call a cab to get to our accommodation, seeing as it was nearing the end of cab drivers’ shifts. Upon realising that we wouldn’t be able to book a cab on our own, a member of the staff kindly gave us a ride to the Jeju bus terminal. We tried to tip him but he was humble in declining it and simply wished for is to patronise them again. 10/10 food and 11/10 service, would definitely recommend anyone to visit them when you can. The cafe upstairs is homely too, and you can head up there to have a small snack if the Jung Jong folks are away on break in between opening hours.
