The Big Dipper Ice Cream Parlour

Inga and her granddaughter were busy making fresh waffle cones, while two high school girls handled the scooping. The name says it all: the waffle cone with a single scoop was packed with nearly a quart of delicious ice cream. As a big guy, I struggled to finish mine, which I believe was called Baked Goods. Unfortunately, they are closing down as Inga has passed away. It's hard to envision anyone being able to fill her shoes. Inga was an incredibly hard act to follow, and her humility shone through in everything she did.

The ice cream is really good and reasonably priced. However, they don't offer soft serve, which is usually one of my favorites. The place has a charming old soda fountain vibe, but unfortunately, it was closed due to COVID.

Olivia and I really enjoyed our ice cream! I had my favorite flavor, pistachio, while she chose bubble gum with unicorn sprinkles.

The ice cream was fantastic! Unfortunately, the staff was very rude to everyone. I noticed them whispering, pointing fingers, and even discussing the customers. They rolled their eyes at me twice while I was trying to place an order for myself and my daughter. I won't be returning.

It's usually difficult to have a bad experience with ice cream, but this place had a peculiar smell, and the hot fudge they served was overcooked. It had a noticeably bitter and burnt taste.
