Bidrage med feedbackOkay, that's not a 5-star restaurant, it's a solid 4-star place and I'm giving it 5 starters. Unexpected low prices for a coastal island restaurant, huge portions of delicious food, and a "staff of personality" like something from a sitcom that you want to have made additional tips only for them. You serve ice cream, and 'Adult' sunflowers with a shot of your choice of spirit or liqueur, or just a blob in your coffee. The famous May Hall is vegetarian, so there are always alternative dishes planned, but it cooks meat like a meat eater. If you get there early enough, and they managed to keep everything obnoxily zahnsome dessert from the ravenous clutches of the dishwasher, you can have created an obnoxily zahnsome Dessert May. Live music most every weekend, and occasional in-house entertainments like karaoke and pub trivia, or just hang with the colorful locals, it is a great place to visit. If you tour the islands in Casco Bay, make sure to swing by when they are open.
We organized a farewell dinner of the wedding party here and it was wonderful! The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was great. Our guests had a fantastic time and we highly recommend this café!
They were pampered by 50 plus people from a tournament and they didn't miss a beat! Bartender were amazing and kept it coming and the food was excellent. Haddock Sandwich was delicious and the entire servi g staff remained friendly and patient!
SLOW service. Told Waitress 2 times what was ordered. Of course my dinner didn't arrive till after the others were done . Last we were told if we didn't like the service we should go to the INN. Were not Islanders . They got served before us. The scallops wete good but cold. No use in complaining. We will go back to support the Bell. Fun times always with the mudic.
Brings me back to the good old days when the best part of the bar werent the phone numbers on the bathroom walls. Also plenty of grass for my grandkids to count if one beer turns into 4.
