French traditional cuisine with some young inventive supplements like scallop carpaccio with all the fresh of the harvest on the same day. everyone had a fantastic lunch, appetizer, main course, desert and for less than 150 euro.
In france the truckers know the best places: cheap, plentiful, good eating. this restaurant was a truck place earlier, but in the time it became a beautiful landscape restaurant with the same qualities as before just a little more sophistic and less cheap. but the quality price ratio is good, eating is good, traditional French cuisine with all its qualities, based on quality products. Try it!
On the outside, it looks like a trucker restaurant. Inside is the fun and the service professional and kind. We ate the crudites and the housepaté. Both very good. As main dish the faux filet with bearnaise sauce. Very good. Portions are big, so don't order too much.
I've got all my footsteps I stop at the good reception. very professional and pleasant staff. menu at 18,50 euros including entrance, dish, cheese tray and desserts. a presentation of the dishes sought but above all an irreproachable culinary quality. this midday calf egg under hull of breadcrumbs surrounded by white and green aspersion with slices of bacon, in main dish a chicken with rice, a plate of 3 Norman cheeses and to finish a cut of homemade sorbets. all is excellent, superbly presented for a price of 18,50€.The next time!
This restaurant has the particularity of being both a road and a gastronomic restaurant. The kitchen is good and generous (very generous) and the waitress particularly efficient and pleasant. the dishes are delicious and well presented. However, for small appetites, this is not the ideal place. Finally a small flat, the desserts are not at the height of the kitchen.When at prices, we found them a little excessive. 38 euros, for an entrance, a dish, cheese and a dessert. with aperitif and a little wine, the addition immediately goes up to over 50 euros. It is not justified, even if the kitchen is correct.
