Stir - Chattanooga

Food was decent but the service was great. The crab bisque was delicious, however the Shrimp and grits were a bit too salty for my palate.

Never heard of a restaurant that’s open until midnight (clearly states that) but shuts the kitchen down at 10:15. Nice. The food is excellent and I live within walking distance but unfortunately I won’t be eating here again because of this incident. DO NOT come here past 10 unless you want liquids ONLY. You’ve been warned.

Great experience! I got a salad with chickpeas. It was great. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned well. During the time we ate there was a table set up with pasta, salad, and other desserts that was all you can eat. They also had live jazz. The service was great from the manager assisting our larger party to the great waitress.

Reading the reviews of Stir, I was in a frame of mind that I would be getting the food that I was optimistically awaiting! Now that being said, here is what we ordered step by step.Our first entree was spiny tuna bites. Presentation was off, taste was par. Honestly I expected more! Next our second entree we had an assortment of specialty oysters. They were fresh tasting and not bad for being imported the coast. Now for our third entree, we had lobster crab cakes. The thickness and actual density of the cake was not very good at all! It was charred and the lack of flavor made me want to suck on my lemon slice to get to the taste out of my mouth! Walked home with a sour stomach and hoping the jar of rolaids will give me relief!
