Hickory Pit -b-que - Chattanooga

There were three of us, and everything we ordered was delicious. We even urged the owner to open a location in our hometown. At 51 years old, I can confidently say it was the best BBQ I’ve ever had!

Without a doubt, this is one of the best BBQ dinners I've had in a long time. The meat was juicy and flavorful enough to enjoy without any sauce, boasting a lovely hickory smoked taste. We absolutely loved our meal, and if you're a BBQ fan, do yourself a favor and give this place a try—you won't regret it! For dessert, we also ordered cheesecake, and I can't wait to return to Chattanooga. Your establishment is fantastic, and I look forward to sharing my experience with family and friends in Tennessee and northern Alabama, as well as anyone visiting the area. We loved it!

This review was tough to write. The food here is truly excellent, and there's ample parking available. However, my main concerns are related to the overall dining experience. During our visit, we dined in and were hardly ever checked on for drink refills or any other needs. Additionally, barbecue can be quite messy, yet we were given only two small napkins throughout our meal, and there were no extra napkins in sight. I'm sure if we had asked for more, they would have been provided, but unfortunately, we never saw our server. I even had to wash my hands in the restroom halfway through the meal. I believe there should be napkin dispensers on every table! I really wanted to give this place a higher rating because the issues I encountered are easily fixable and could significantly enhance the overall experience. I recommend providing more napkins and ensuring servers check in with customers more frequently for a much-improved dining experience. Thank you.
