Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped here for dinner recently after driving by so often and seeing so many cars in the parking lot. We were greeted fairly quickly by a nice man who seated us. We promptly received chips and salsa-which were delicious. The restaurant has a very eclectic and authentic vibe. I love all the mural work and colors. Our server was very kind and helpful. I ordered the veggie fajitas and it came with all the good stuff, including broccoli, peppers and onions. It came with all the sides like rice and lettuce, tomatoes, onions and I also ordered cilantro. I 'd definitely go back but honestly I 'm still on the hunt for my favorite Mexican restaurant ! Go see for yourself!
We debated not eating here because of the low scores, but another online review site had higher (and more) stars so we thought we'd give it a try. My husband was crazy flour tortilla nachos and we've heard this place has the best. The chips and salsa were served quickly and the salsa was delicious, more on the chunky side with a kick. My husbands nachos where delicious and piled high. I ordered my go to chicken chimichanga, it's served with two fried flour tortillas and a generous side of lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and beans. I deducted a star because neither chimichanga was filled that well and were pretty flat, but the chicken in it was delicious.
Love this place one of the best in town ! Food is always flavorful and hot ! My favorite is the chicken flaming cheese it is wonderful and a good price for the amount of food .
My husband and I were not happy with our experience at this place. We ordered the fajita meal for two $27) as take out. First mistake was that I didnt take everything out of the bag and check our dishes before I left. I felt that would have been rude but by the time I drove the half hour home and opened our dishes I was wishing I had chosen to be rude. One half of the fajitas was the steak, chicken and chorizo portion. It was so overcook that it was almost inedible. The meat was so sparse I was barely able to pick out my husband's portion with meat and I ended up eating vegetables. There were 4 times the amount of onions and peppers than anything else. The 2nd half of the fajitas was the shrimp and pork portion. The taste and preparation was much better but again the protein was so sparse that there is no way it was going to feed two. Even the beans and rice were just little dabs. I suspect that if we had ordered this as dine in they wouldn't have had the nerve to serve such a terrible quality meal but as take out, they probably assumed no one would drive back to complain. Jokes on them I guess. This was my first time trying this place and I always try to give everyone more than one chance so I will be back and I will rewrite my review based on my new experience.
This is going to sound a bit harsh but I think this restaurant does not like their fellow natives. Keep in mind it 's a Mexican restaurant. Our work crew wanted to try this for the first time and the servers almost were acting like we weren 't there for a minute. A couple of people actually left because they weren 't served in time.We finally got seated and order our food. The food was ok but I think it needs a bit more authentic flavor. Wouldn 't return on my own will to be honest. Should change their name to The Monterrey.
