Most are about 20-30% cheaper than bakers joy! A cheap and a Glutton (has a huge bowl of Ramen had), I had to buy only a few slices of her mushroom pizza n a single cheese stick. They are really for my monsters lol. I'm full????. Incidentally, their pizza base consists of bread, as bakers is pleased.
The pork roller came with really delicious bread, which was bigger than usual, but the exterior was so crisp until the point I thought that it would cut the roof of my mouth. The inside was nice and soft, which was a relief. Grief Mayo was a little overwhelming, but the pate was nice to be balanced. They give you pretty much vegetables and with each bite you can distinguish what you eat - very fresh. I wish the Chili actually had something heat, as the here were not very sharp here. Grief The service was nice and efficient with more than one person who serves Banh MI, so that at least two people can order at the same time. Perfectly located next to a juice bar, so you can get a juice to go!
I was looking for a simple and cheap breakfast to go with my green tea latte of Maldini espresso, and pushed in Vina Bakehouse when I made myself Chatswood Westfield. Your almond croissant ($ 3.70) began in my eye (together with many pastries) and I decided to buy one. The croissant was flaky / crispy and had a (hidden) vanilla pudding filling. The only downside was that I ended up with the powdered sugar mixture everywhere in my hand and the sleeve.
Exceedingly rarely does a flavoured pie deliver upon the promise of it's name. Oh sure, curry pies generally do, but beef, tomato and onion pies? Psht.
Wow talk about value for money, at my massive BBQ pork roll is definitely a bargain, you can't get a foot long sub for that price. When I used to work in Chatswood, one of my colleague would get one of Vina's roll for lunch most days, and rave on about them. I have never gotten one because they are so massive I could never finish it! But I was really hungry this time, so got one to try, and totally didn't disappoint. Aside from great value for money, good ratio of meat to veggies fillings, the bread roll was crusty on the outside yet soft fluffy inside. The BBQ pork had good flavours moist. The only thing was that they were really heavy handed with the chilli, so it was bit spicy. Overall, great bargain meal!
