They were pretty good before, not sure what happened, I definitely WON'T go again. Firstly, they used to have a $10 lunch special menu, which they don't do anymore.  I was a little disappointed but it was okay because I went there for their nice seats so I can do my work. Secondly, they said it came with 5 side dishes on the menu, but there were only 4 - onions, kimchi, radish, and cabbage in yogurt or some sweeter sauce.  They used to have nicer side dishes, like fish cake.  I couldn't remember whether they had potato mash.. Thirdly, I ordered a spicy seafood and tofu soup.  The "seafood" that was in my soup include a prawn with shell that is the length of my thumb (I have short fingers), and a few tiny prawn meat and cram pieces that are smaller than the head of my pinky.  Seriously...and that was $14.

Bad experience, waiters there are slow and inefficient. Restaurant was not even full, after we sat down we waited for 20 minutes before someone came to us to take our food order. We had to get our own water and own menu because no one attended our table. Food was mediocre and edible but so what I.already wanted to leave after i ordered.

Casual atmosphere, good for a night out with friends. Staff is friendly I usually order their soup dish ( kimchi tofu, steam wings) all taste really nice and good flavour (spicyness????) However the place needs some improvement in terms of cleanliness

Dae Jang Kum is a relaxed and friendly Korean BBQ restaurant with a good menu offering all the classics. Not the best but not the worst, but I'll probably come here again when I don't feel like trekking over the bridge to satiate my Korean cravings.
