Terrible service. Been three times because we kept telling ourselves to give them a chance. Wont be back a fourth. Always seems like they have new staff but i know theyve been there for a while. Bathroom disgusting made me lose my appetite and our table was dirty when we got there. A small plate of home fries as a side was way too over priced as well. Saw them put dirty dishes out in the open on the counter in front of all the customers for everyone to see. Way too hot in there to. No AC to cool down the place. Entire place smells like grease. The dish washer also had head phones in and was on his phone when he would come out to the dishes bin. Got a dirty look when i didnt leave a tip, wasnt earned though. Place wasn't even packed and our food took an hour to come out. We were in there for nearly 2 hours. We will not be back and I suggest you do not go there

Stopped here for breakfast. Busy little place and we know why. Great food, great service. Definitely return next time we are in the area.

Shady Pine Restaurant is an awesome breakfast diner! The food is always good & plentiful & price is reasonable. There is usually a special for lunch consisting of usuallysoup & sandwich type or burger & fries. They close at 2pm.This restaurant serves the best homemade pies ever! Their lemon merange is amazing!Haven't had a butter tart that can match Shady Pines! You can purchase a whole pie or dozen or half of butter tarts. Pies are approx $14 & tarts $7 a half dozen.Best to call a day or two ahead to order a pie or dozen tarts.Decor is pine benches & tables. Very clean & homey!Restaurant is open Friday evening 5:30 for dinner as well, & has weekly specials!Usually crowded early in the morning around nine as regulars are there. Same for lunch.If your having lunch best be there by 11:30. They get busy!

Found this place driving by one day and went back to try it out. So happy we did. I had the waffle breakfast with fruit and whiped cream. I would have preferred fresh fruit as the fruit seemed to have been frozen and was very cold. My husband had one of the egg breakfasts with home fries, bacon and toast. You got a lot and it was very good. The coffee is very good as well. The staff were very friendly. It's been around for a long time and seems to be a popular place.

This is a popular local diner (breakfast and lunch only). Homemade daily specials, giant pies and tarts for dessert. Large menu - you will definitely find something that you like. Bring the family - casual dining. You get a full plate for a reasonable price. Daily specials usually around $6-$7. Breakfast is a favorite here.
