Hunt Co. And Catering - Chatham

Couldn't even get service. Went there on a lunch break with 12 other co-workers when their were 3 other people in the restaurant eating and got completely ignored. Never even spoke to a staff member. Ended up leaving and going to fast food.

This was our first time eating @Hunt Co. 's food and it was exceptional! We chose to eat in the restaurant after a doctor 's appointment. I love the spacing of the tables inside, and the little extras found both on the tables and at the drink stations. Everything was so very clean and inviting too. The young lady who took our order at the register was very helpful and friendly and answered all my questions. My husband ordered the beef brisket Korean tacos with the kimchi on the side and broccoli salad as his one side item. I originally ordered the pulled pork platter, but was told French fries were not an option for either of the two sides (which I did not find pleasing). I instead ordered the pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw on the side (rather than on the sandwich), with fries, and both barbecue sauces. We did not wait long for our food to be brought out and everything was fresh and temperature appropriate. I tried my pull pork before adding BBQ sauce and it was the best pork BBQ I have ever had. It was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of tender and crisp. The tomato based sweet tangy sauce was my preferred choice, and it too was like none other I have ever tried. The coleslaw was perfectly chopped with the right amount of sweet savory. I only ate one piece of the sandwich bun and used fork and knife to eat the pork, coleslaw and BBQ sauce together in each bite. Delicious! My husband really enjoyed the beef brisket Korean tacos, but it was the broccoli salad which really blew his mind. And I agree it was the star of the show! We will absolutely be back to try many of their other options, and will be sure to bring friends when we do. So happy for such an exceptional, original restaurant to be so close to home.

A charming location. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the new Hunt Company restaurant in Chatham, VA a Reuben sandwich and a Pimento Cheese sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious! The staff were courteous and kind. The new owner visited tables. Many folks coming in for pick up orders. Can't wait to try other menu items. Only down side? They are only open M Sat, 11 2. Hopefully their menu and their hours will grow.

This is my favorite place to eat and pick up food in Chatham! Ordering online to pickup is very convenient and I always get excellent service. Delicious French Dip and Brisket; the cakes, cheesecakes and cookies are hard to resist as well! Great atmosphere for a yummy lunch, a must try for sure!

Great food especially the smoked meats great atmosphere and a wonderful place together with friends or family or for a meeting. . The desserts are to die for and helpings are plentiful more than enough for one person or even two. The Homestead creamery ice cream is just a bonus. Staff is friendly and helpful! Get there early as it gets crowded quickly.
