Bagelstein - Chartres

We have been to bagelstein several times and we have tried both bagels, beverages and muffins/cookies. Café Crème is very nice, ice-coffee as well and ice-tea very refreshing, you may also take it to go. The salmon bagel is great, very fresh and it is prepared in front of you. I have also taken just the bagels to make sandwiches at home, the variety is very good (pavot, sesame, nature, cumin, etc). The staff is very friendly and the hygiene is largely respected. I must say that I don't like the deserts that much (muffins/cookies), they don't seem very fresh but I would definitely go back, I think this is the only bagel store in Chartres.

Les bagels sont préparés devant soi, ce qui est très appréciable. L'humour est au rendez-vous et le personnel très sympa. Par contre même si les bagels sont très bons, je trouve que c'est assez cher pour ce que c'est. Malgré tout, c'est très pratique, que ce soit au niveau de l'emplacement et du concept vente à emporter ou sur place.

I didn't expect NYC quality bagels when I came here, but their bagels are still very good.

Una buena opción para comer barato en Chartres y de buena calidad. Los bagels estaban bastante ricos, había varios rellenos para elegir. El precio era más que razonable.

I ordered a salmon bagel. I had the impression of eating that bread in the end because there was a small slice of salmon only for the price, I find that efforts will be welcome.
