The service, from greeting to serving, was friendly, attentive, and efficient! I particularly enjoyed the complimentary broccoli soup that came with my meal. The country fried steak was delicious with a wonderfully crispy texture, and the portion sizes are enormous—I'm currently looking at my to-go box, and there's definitely enough food for another entire meal! The cornbread is pleasantly semi-sweet and shaped like a block. While the salad was rather basic, consisting mostly of lettuce and a single tomato, it was still satisfying. I found the mashed potatoes a bit lacking, so I might skip those next time. The sweet tea was perfectly sweet and refreshing. However, the highlight for me, as recommended by my server, was the chocolate pie. These pies practically greet you as you enter the restaurant, and they are absolutely phenomenal—possibly some of the best I've ever tasted! You'll definitely want to save room for that. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience today, and it's no surprise that Tryon House has been successfully operating for 27 years. Be sure to give them a visit!

This charming little breakfast spot is a must-visit! They offer a unique dish called the hobo skillet, which is absolutely worth a try. It’s a delightful combination of flavors all in one. The staff are wonderful and incredibly friendly, adding to the overall experience.

My mom and I went to Tryon House this morning for breakfast. We were greeted when we arrived and put on the waiting list. As we were waiting a man (I?m assuming he was the manager) told us they were not serving breakfast and it was up to us if we wanted tocontinue to wait for lunch. I wanted breakfast so we decided to leave. As I was leaving another customer walked in and askedwere they still serving breakfast. The same man that told me no, told him let me check. I felt that was unfair. I was flat outtold no. There was no ?let me check?. I can?t speak on the food but this action left me feeling unwelcomed and I don?t want tospend money where I am not welcomed.

The food was incredible! The omelet was enormous. I got the veggie omelet, which was packed with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. The highlight of my meal was the home fries—they were absolutely delicious! They were seasoned perfectly, and I continued to eat them long after I was full because they were just too good to waste. The service was excellent as well. I will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area!

I had an outstanding breakfast experience. The country fried steak was one of the best I've ever tasted—tender meat that wasn't too thick, and the breading was perfectly balanced, enhancing the flavor without overpowering it. The over-easy eggs were cooked just right, and I was thrilled to see hash browns on the menu. The service was excellent; my coffee was refilled multiple times without me having to ask, and the front desk was quick to seat me. I would highly recommend this place!
