We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the tavern! There was a dj playing the melodies while we enjoyed our Sunday brunch, our server Destiny was great and the food was hot and very good, but the oxtails could have had more oxen. There was a small oxtail and some oxen tail squeals meet, but many grottos. We felt we liked at least 2 medium-sized oxtails for $20. Apart from that, we'd probably go back.

It was a girl friends outing for a Sunday brunch at the Tavern. We tried everything oxtails and grits, shrimp and grits, charred okra, the deviled eggs, the brunch rolls and the mimosas were good. The atmosphere was relaxed while the d jay payed some good music!

However, we did think the oxtails could have been more substantial. There was a small oxtail and some bits of meat, but overall there wasn't much to it. We felt that at least two medium-sized oxtails would have been more appropriate for the $20 price. Aside from that, we would definitely consider returning.

The service was unfortunately quite slow, but I can see the potential.

Returning customers consistently enjoy this establishment. The food and music are excellent, and the location is fantastic. However, parking could be improved. I would recommend it to family and friends for a night out.
