The Manchester 1812 - Charlotte

We just returned from our visit and I understand why they're closing. All the waitstaff seemed more focused on another table, possibly friends or coworkers. Our waitress checked on us initially, but after that, we only saw her when we placed our orders and when she brought our food. Our appetizer arrived at the same time as our main dishes, which was confusing. Everything we had was warm but not hot, as fresh food should be. I noticed other tables appeared to be experiencing similar issues. I'm actually relieved they're shutting down because I won't be returning after this experience.

We made a reservation in advance, but upon our arrival, we were informed that our table was still occupied. We opted for an alternative seating arrangement, but it took the server 20 minutes to come to our table. Frustrated, we decided to leave.

My friends and I decided to visit The Manchester, intending to treat our server well, completely unaware that it was closing the very next day. We had a fantastic time and were excited about returning in the future. Our server, Harold, was amazing! It’s sad to hear that the restaurant is closing, but we're grateful we had the chance to experience it!

Restaurant was nice, food was just alright. Drinks was good. Photo booth was the favorite.

There was great food and a trivia night going on in the bar. Really fun environment and the drinks were amazing. It is alittle pricey and the service was alittle slow but overall great experience!
