Thai House - Charlotte

The Thai restaurant is pretty good. We ordered off the brunch menu, with me getting the red curry and my wife getting the pad Thai. I enjoyed my red curry, but my wife thought the pad Thai was a bit sweet. The brunch menu was alright, but I don't think I would have wanted to pay full price for the portion sizes we received. Overall, it was good but not outstanding.

I have visited this restaurant three times and have enjoyed it every time. I am a fan of glass noodles, and this place really exceeds expectations! The ambiance, service, cleanliness, and food all receive a perfect 5-star rating.

On October 21, 2022, my wife had surgery in the afternoon and expressed a craving for Thai food. She ordered a meal from 485 while I drove us there. We arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule.

This Thai restaurant is a decent choice. I have liked their curry dishes and pad Thai, but was not impressed with other menu items. I would recommend avoiding the tempura as the batter is too heavy. If you have access to a Charlotte Citipass book, there is usually a dine-in coupon available, making it worth a try. We continue to visit due to its convenient location and enjoy their Penang curry. While there may not be many top-notch Thai restaurants in the Charlotte area, this one will satisfy your craving until a better option comes along.
