Sushi Guru - Charlotte

Absolutely delicious and wonderful for raw sushi/ not raw sushi lovers: ramen is also great!

The first time we came we had a great experience with excellent food. However, the second visit was much less impressive and left something to be desired. Their signature sushi rolls are pricey, ok, it 's sushi... that 's to be expected on some level. However, there was so much rice, the fish was completely lost. At $16 $28 per roll, I expect the fish to have a starring roll (no pun intended). I ended up taking apart the rolls, removing 1/2 of the rice. The miso soup was complementary, and it 's a good thing because it was very watered down and flavorless. I 'll probably give them another try, but may stick to the ramen next time.

I had a quick lunch there between jobs and it was wonderful. The menu was expansive and I intend to return to give the food the time it requires. I had simple rolls and they were a good size and the fish was fresh and tasty. I was offered a complimentary bowl of miso soup and it was the perfect compliment to the sushi rolls. As far as service, I couldn't have asked for more. My server was attentive and gracious and didn't mind when I asked to be cashed out early so I would t be late to my next job. I would highly recommend trying this place if you are a sushi lover.

It’s a bit on the expensive side, but I’m still giving 5 stars because the quality shows. I’ve been here three times and ordered the Park sushi roll, Hokage roll, and Jabbawockeez roll. All were very good, and do beat out the sushi at Cowfish in my humble opinion. The sauce was excellent. On my third visit, I was given free Miso soup. Service is very prompt and friendly.

From all Sushi spots in the Charlotte area, this is a must try. the sushi is amazing and the service is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend if they have not tried park sushi and love sushi. they will be glad they tried! Five stars!
