Room 112 Modern Asian Cuisine

One of my favorite hidden gems right in uptown Charlotte Vegetarian options: Veggies and rice and even sushi Wheelchair accessibility: Have to find parking first

One nearby table was very noisy, obnoxiously so. Otherwise the place was very quiet, but there seemed to only be one waiter working. Dietary restrictions: One of our party is allergic to gluten. The dish she ordered didn't specify gluten present, but it arrived coated in panko breadcrumbs. The waiter was good and managed to get the chef to rustle up an alternative (which apparently took some persuading? , but the replacement chicken dish was somehow cold.

Room 112 is a great sushi spot nestled into a beautiful old building. I was expecting more from the inside decor at the restaurant but I actually appreciated it not being glamorous and fancy. The service could be better but the sushi makes up for it. The sushi is terrific.

Was a great lunch spot but they increased the prices when ordering online by quite a bit. Doesn't feel worth it anymore.

Well worth it. Food was delicious and service was friendly. Will definitely stop by next time I am in the area.
