O-ku - Charlotte

Alejandro was an outstanding server! He made an already magical experience even more extraordinary! The food was among the best Japanese and Asian fusion I've ever tasted! The cocktails were fantastic, and the atmosphere was delightful. I will definitely be returning! Absolutely amazing!

Delicious! It's a bit pricey, but wow, it's the best sushi I've had in Charlotte so far. The drinks are great too; I particularly enjoyed the Hello Kitty if you're into sweet martini-style beverages. They also have an excellent gluten-free menu—I even got to enjoy tempura! Just a heads up, though: while cross-contamination doesn't concern me, I was informed that the fryer is shared, so there may be other options available.

This is the best authentic sushi I've ever had! I don’t usually eat sushi, but I came here for my daughter who loves it, and it was an incredible experience—almost like visiting Japan! I plan to come back many times to try different dishes. I highly recommend starting with the rock shrimp salad and miso soup, and the red dragon sushi roll is a must-try. Our server, Tony, was fantastic. My only suggestion is to include pictures on the menu, as some of the dishes are a bit unfamiliar.

The sushi options were limited but what we got was yummy. They had a nice full bar and really amazing waitstaff. Sad they didn't offer edamame. A little on the pricier side and you need a reservation if you don't want to sit at the bar. Good ambiance, but the high ceilings make it a bit loud

Had such an unbelievable experience at O-Ku in Charlotte NC. I read some of the reviews and was a little nervous but so happy I still went. We went for the sushi happy hour which is half price rolls from 5PM to 7 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. All of the rolls were half price except the three specialty rolls that were over $20 each.
