Mr. K's - Charlotte

My family of four had a great experience at the restaurant this evening. We ordered a veggie burger, chicken tenders, and bacon cheese fries. The bacon was the real deal, not just bits, which was a big plus for us. However, the cheese didn’t quite meet our expectations. The veggie burger was tasty, and the chicken tenders were served hot and crispy. We loved the milkshakes and the mango Italian ice. The sweet tea was nice, but it was a bit less sweet than typical Southern sweet tea. The staff were really friendly and had a great sense of humor. The prices were very reasonable. The only downside was a slight pricing glitch that I missed before signing, resulting in an overcharge of a little over $2 for two identical items. To save time, I decided to treat it as a tip. I really appreciate supporting local and family-owned businesses, so we’ll definitely be returning!

I absolutely love their burgers! They're incredibly fresh and delicious. Mr. K's has been a staple for years and consistently delivers high-quality burgers. The fries are great too, and you can add seasoning at the booths if you want. Don't miss out on the soft serve—it's a must-try!

My daughter and I are big fans of this restaurant. The prices are reasonable, the burgers are excellent, and enjoying ice cream at the outdoor tables is the perfect way to relax on a hot summer day. This establishment is undoubtedly a beloved fixture in Southend, and it truly deserves your support—it's certainly received mine!

Love the old fashioned grilled burger they serve. This place has been here forever and it's always been delicious. My favorite is the single burger all the way. Make sure you save room for ice cream. Soft serve cones and banana splits are the bomb. Stop in and see why Mr. K's is still a Charlotte original.

A cool little ice cream spot for all ages in the NC area. I had a great time talking with the staff. The inside of the ice cream shop also offers regular diner food, almost an 80s theme. If you are looking for a combination of flavors and sweets, give this shop a try! It's decently big inside with plenty of seating as well.
