Alchemy At C3lab - Charlotte

The restaurant is closing soon and I couldn't resist coming back one last time and bringing my friends along!

The food and ambiance were great, as always. It's sad to hear that this restaurant is shutting down.

Great Brunch Spot and will be returning customers! Plenty of parking, easy to find, great ambience. The bar had all homemade abstinence for mimosas and virgin mock tails. My table ordered crispy prosciutto omelette, Japanese pancakes, and potato hash with short rib. Potato hash with short rib was the clear favorite think roast that was probably stewed overnight- 5 stars! The Japanese pancakes reminded me more of a cake than pancakes and tasted as if the batter had sat a while because they weren't so fluffy. Unfortunately the omelette was over cooked. Overall we will definitely be returning to try different menu items in encourage you To try Alchemy too.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. It's a shame that it has shut down. We hope they will open again in a new location.

Our table tried the crispy prosciutto omelette, Japanese pancakes, and potato hash with short rib. The potato hash with short rib was a standout dish, with the short rib likely stewed overnight - we give it 5 stars! The Japanese pancakes were more like cake than traditional pancakes and seemed to have been sitting for a while as they weren't very fluffy. Unfortunately, the omelette was overcooked. Despite some small issues with our meal, we will definitely be returning to try other menu items and highly recommend giving Alchemy a try.
