Country Batard, croissants and sandwiches looked fabulous and tasted so much better than anything you can buy in a grocery store. The bread has many fine pores, a wonderful shape with a taste on the lighter, less acidic and spicy side. After the first day, the bread was stored in a plastic bag at room temperature and after the toasted still delicious 5 days later. The Croissant was one of the biggest and hardest I ever had and good in taste. That said, I prefer smaller, more buttery and fluffy croissants. I apologize for the 4 stars. Compared to grocery bread, this is at least at a 6 star level, but for decades I lived in Europe and compared to these breads, the bread was slightly baked and the Croissant lacked lamination.
Really amazing bagels. Sweet home town of Vibe. Simply sad the execution of menu items because they are so popular
Appropriately inexpensive fresh baked goods. Feels like a bakery, still in the 70s on the music playlist, lights, hard yellow stands and laminated wooden wall cladding.
I traveled all over the larger Charleston area sampling croissants to see who has the best, and Normandie made it to my top 3 picks. I would recommend their chocolate croissant, and I really enjoyed the great soft pulp I also got.
