Leon's - Charleston

I was underwhelmed with Leon’s. Followed the bartenders recommendation and just wasn’t impressed.

Every bit as good as the reviews suggest, if you can get a booking. Great drinks options. Parking can be challenging.

1.5 hour wait for over cooked fried chicken bearly edible. Very slow service didn’t refill drinks and kept saying the food was coming then disappearing server act. Will not recommend and will not be back.

Kinda disappointed after all the great reviews I’ve seen. The fried chicken and cole slaw were flavorless. The scalloped potatoes were terrible. It was like eating under cooked lasagna noodles with no cheese, weird. The hush puppies were raw inside. Our server was cold, made me feel stupid for asking questions. The Virginia oysters excellent! The Xmas lighting and curb appeal are on point.

BEST MEAL! we got the chargrilled oysters, brussel sprouts and fried chicken sandwich and WOW. We were blown away by how good everything was, literally done perfectly on everything 11/10
