Laury's Restaurant - Charleston

Elegant eating. excellent culinary experience. br I will return without hesitation. lobster mushroom starter to die. veal schnitzel perfect.

Return diners will not notice too many changes, which is good. the ambiente is excellent. they enjoy the magnificent interieur of a classic old building. if you're lucky and we were, great for the city. they have a good wine list, limited bourbon selection, the cash offers are not ready for the best time. my friend ordered sambuca, which is traditionally served with 3 coffee beans. they didn't have them when he ordered it before a week and they weren't last night. that may be picky, but the table was not set right. we have uttered and escargot apps, both excellent. I had lamb, which was also excellent, my wife really enjoyed the seafood diablo. we had both souffles, chocolates and grand marniers, who were perfect but have to be ordered early. that makes me complain. the service was remarkably slow, I mean they will check their emails, etc while they wait for dinner. the parking space limits them to three hours, they will close it. they were not particularly crowded, there was no obvious reason. slower service and the bar is why I no longer rated this otherwise excellent restaurant.

Fantastic culinary experience for my wife's birthday. at the arrival we quickly realized that we were under dressed, never before we were aware of the atmosphere. the service was on place, the kitchen was so tasteful and tasty. 10

That was a perfect dinner. steak diane 5 stars, oysters rockafeller 5 stars, lobster filled mushrooms 5 stars, lobster ravioli 5 stars. service was exceptional, eating was incredible, atmosphere was wonderful. Overall, I think it's my list of favorites above. if I had died before eating in this restaurant, I would have cheated. we don't live in the opposite and we were on our way. we were here after we had come to the hotel earlier than expected. I can only say that I can't wait to come back to charleston west virginia so I can eat again in this restaurant.

My wife and I are in our 60s, and this is a top 10 all-time restaurant based on our travel in the usa and Europe. excellent service of glen with recommended, perfect planter and service. tableside ceasar for two, perfect MR file and a grand Marnier souffle order early with cocktails) reminded us of our anniversary dinner at the jockey club before dc years. we are no longer flying from raleigh to louisville to see our grandson, we are going and stay in charleston to feed at laurys!
