Bidrage med feedbackWe ate here as a family with young children. We eat kosher style - no pork shellfish etc. Trying to order a simple salad was a mission. The Italian salad looked nice but when I asked to substitute the jambon with a little chèvre the waiter simply dismissed the idea as ludicrous- even stating 'it's not my fault she doesn't eat jambon'. Sorry.... but in 2017 and in an empty restaurant, chefs and waiters would benefit from being a little more flexible in their approach to diners. My son wanted fresh basil on his pizza but none was available. Call yourself an Italian restaurant? Hmmm. Less of the poncy attitude more of the Italian warm loving service please!.
Arrived for dinner and we were the first ones there. It quickly filled up and we know why! My parents ordered caesar salads and we split the antipasti of pepperoni, salami, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, and a bread basket. My parents loved the chicken caesar - they mentioned how delicious the chicken and fresh parm was. I ordered the Bleu pizza and got through about half of it; my mom got the potato pasta shells with mushrooms; and my dad got the spicy pasta dish. We polished off a bottle of white wine and gluttonously ordered after-dinner gin cocktails. I even ordered the molton lava cake since I was on a roll and it was awesome! The place was quietly lit with candles, the food was fresh, and a gentleman working there even accommodated us by taking our entree order and waiting to put it in until we gave the go ahead. In the USA, they throw all that at you at once and slap the bill down, so we enjoyed having Italian in France and not being rushed. I didn't catch our server's name but he was really nice. We just had a pleasant experience all around. If we lived here, we'd go again! That's obviously why it filled up so quickly. Thank you L'Allegria!
The menu shows a wide variety of dishes. The dishes we choose were very nice and tastfull. We were earlier than opening time and could already enjoy an aperitif in the sofa's.Big terras where most guests were seated can become chilly depending the timing. Not very cheap.
We know the ALEGRIA TRE in Lyon and we were traveling around Charbonnières. konwing the place in Lyon we decided to make a stop and try it. It met our expectations, everything is made to make your stay very enjoyable.Friendly welcome and very happy with the service, we had delicious pasta, aldente, The Pizza was amazing, very tastful. Nothing to add I highly recommend this restaurant @ 200% to anyone fancy a nice meal surrounded by a nice crew
We were here for dinner and arrived maybe a little late (about 9.30pm, but the restaurant was supposed to close at 11.00pm, so there was plenty of time for a good dinner); anyway the people tried to speed up every single part of the dinner since the beginning. They also canceled the starter we've already booked without suggesting any replacement choice.Definitely not Italian-style service even if the restaurant claims to be an Italian one.Food quality was quite ok.I don't think i would recommend this place or visit it again.
