Excellent culinary experience, best for special occasions

Overall, it was a nice experience but the food was extremely over priced. My husband ordered the 2lb rib eye and there was absolutely no way it was what they claimed. Additionally, my filet mingoin was over cooked. Our waiter was difficult to hear in the loud room. I will say the sommelier was excellent and gave fantastic recommendations. It was nice but for the ridiculous large amount of money we spent, we will not be going back.

Come on, Bin54; this is the best you can do?! The Caesar was not traditional and overpowered by dressing, but garlic crostini was very good. Source of shells not identified on the menu and lack of strength, possibly overcooked, and the broth had no taste! Calamari was strongly baked and sweet chili sauce made it just soggy and not compliment the appetizer. The bottle of wine and hanger steak were excellent, but disappointed that 10oz Filet Mignon was not a middle cut and came in pieces or was cut in the back kitchen. The French fries were great and loved the banana pudding!!!!!!

Worth visiting. Steak was tender and tasty with only one touch of a smokey taste. Wedge salad was perfect and scaled potatoes were excellent. Have a nice evening.

Always a Chapel Hill staple for fine dining and special occasions. Love that it’s still like a hole in the wall place! Celebrated another anniversary here, and as always the meal was excellent as well as the service and ambiance. Enjoyed delicious crab cake and salad followed by filet, accompanied with scalloped potatoes and asparagus. 5 stars!
