We went pure for the variety of seafood I didn't have too long catfish. And then I was pleasantly surprised to see the list of pages that contain many of my southern favorites (I could not ignore the fried okra). They also have standard sub-parts along with seafood and plates. My only complaint would be that the Bratbatter is too heavy and could overwhelm the taste of the fish. But I still think that I would come back because it is a nearby non-chain place to enjoy my love of seafood.
The place is not all to write home, but the food is made to order and they serve fried gizzards that you do not often see. I don't often see if the back in Texas where I come from, so I tend to notice it on a menu. The frits are perfectly cooked and the shrimp sand, the sub is good, although they do not put a lot of shrimp in them. If you order the Jumbo wings, be careful because they are hot and stay so for a while. Overall, good place for the departure seafood and I have eaten there for several times.
Small small deli with quite extensive menu. My husband and brother probably tried everything on the menu at this point. My daughter and I only repeat, but we were always dissatisfied. The owner is also cool. This is a big reason why we continue to support this business - next to the food. Good.
I love the the food here, always consistent and always delicious. Definitely can't complain about the value... especially in these days and time of cutbacks rising costs you can still come here and get good bang for your buck on top of good food.
