Bidrage med feedbackI recommend trying the sweet pongal at this restaurant, it's one of the best I've had. The puliogre was also delicious. The pongal and idli were decent. However, the coffee was not up to par. The restaurant offers parking.
The breakfast was nicely awaited by typical South Indian restaurant. but I felt that the hot drinks tea/coffee were up to mark nit and charged 20 rs each that felt little on the higher side as I felt
The Bangalore-Mysore highway has many restaurants, but Kadambam stands out for its delicious and piping hot thatte idly, vade, and dosas of various types. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean, making it a preferred choice for travelers. The puliyogare is also very tasty. However, the toilets need an update to meet modern standards. Our family always stops by this joint for breakfast.
This ice cream is extremely popular, with long wait times to eat here. The location is very comfortable and there is plenty of parking available for those who want to take a stroll before dining. The food is fresh and not overly spicy, mainly offering South Indian fare but also including some dishes from North India. The service is good, the prices are reasonable, and the overall dining experience is enjoyable. They do not serve non-vegetarian dishes. The restaurant can get crowded at times, as it is an old establishment with a loyal customer base. Definitely worth a try!
Kadambams restaurant is a great place to stopover with family and friends if you are driving through the Bangalore-Mysuru highway (SH1 17/NH 275). The food and the options are pretty good and specifically, their specialty dishes like sweet pongal and Puliogrey. The ambience is perfect...and helps you relax. A tasty filter coffee and you are on your way again!
