Michelas - Chania

There are only three words to describe here: delicious, beautiful and traditional. the main cook of this tavern is the grandmother. if they are looking for food that has a great taste with a lot of love, they are absolutely right here. I am cook and I love fresh and regional products. exactly what they get here. sometimes I love to cook meals made in 3 michael star restaurant. but what I love most are simple meals with soul. in my opinion they only find those meal times that are cooked by nanas (Italian word for grandmother). the sohn the grandmother likes to speak with people and is available at any time for some ratchets. for example, I asked him where to get regional and large olive oil and I must admit the olive oil I have received was the best I have ever tried. We were in this restaurant two years ago and also today. the small restaurant in the sweet old market place. it is a family bus. the quality of food and services is the same. excellant fresh food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service. traditional Greek cuisine with excellent taste. I really like it. I'm coming back in a definitiw! the prices are very good. house wine is its own production very good

We stayed a week ago in Michelas, very delicious regional cuisine, house made, for good price, I recommend in 100%. Very friendly people, great deals from Poland

We had a nice and comfortable eating. everything was delicious. they are very friendly

Ordered: Lamb chop, calamari, okra, coke Zero. Total cost $20. Enough for two people. Seems like a mother and son restaurant. The gentlemen there speak English fluently and very polite. Food was tasty. Decor and setting was clean and pleasant. Lamb chop and potatoes was my favourite. Food comes with bread. Don't expect raki like other places. Food for thought: might be more expensive than other local restaurant but remember you are in the tourist spot.
