Amy Laksa - Changi

This place offers delicious and affordable laksa with a rich, creamy coconut milk flavor. While the $2.50 portion is a bit small, I recommend opting for the $3 bowl. However, don't expect a lot of prawns or other ingredients. The owner keeps the prices low for the local residents.

Affordable and delicious! This is one of my favorite laksa dishes, featuring a flavorful broth with pieces of dried shrimp. The chili is sweet and enhances the gravy without being overly spicy. The line is always long, but it's worth the wait!

The laksa, prepared with rich coconut milk, is simply delightful! It warms my heart, especially with its vibrant orange hue and tender cockles. However, I was a bit disappointed to discover only three cockles in my medium-sized bowl, which was priced at $3.

I have been enjoying Amy's laksa for many years. Unfortunately, due to the recent Covid-19 situation, I haven't been able to visit as often. I also really loved her mee siam, but it hasn't been available for quite some time. I'm hopeful that she will bring it back once the crowd starts to return.

The laksa is creamy and leans towards the sweeter side. For some heat, be sure to add extra chili paste!
