Vic runs in front of the house that greets all and his wife, I think her name is Marie, is the cook. We had the smoked Gator appetizer. We had gator before, but if always fried, that was a nice change and it was delicious. For the main dish we divided goat tacs with fresh pico and elk sliders with grilled onions and potatoes. The spices on the potatoes were perfect for roasted potatoes. All we had was so delicious. You will look at the menu and want to order everything. I love how the function local Arizona beers on tap. We want to try other dishes again. You will not regret stopping the restaurant and bar of Chandler.
If I could give these 10 stars, I would!!! I called an order for my husband because I am so picky that I wouldn't even try it, but the owner is so wonderful!!!! He recommended the chicken stall. Hands down is the best dinner we had in years!!!! Our twins 5 and son 2 even went wild over our food!! The BISON PIZZA is a MUST ALSO DELICIOUS!!! The food is fresh and hot. This place is a hidden gem literally!!! Will definitely return at least once a week!!! Look at this place.
Great place to pack a few drinks and enjoy some special game meat. Many different dishes that Elch, Venison, Bison, Wild boar, Antelope, Rabbit, Alligator, Duck, Goats, you call it! We tried their sliders, a Venison and an Elch, both were so juicy and tasty. Venison was tenderer, but the elk was more tasteful. The owners Victor and Gabby are the most beautiful people you will ever meet. They treat all guests like their own family. You talk to you and get to know at an individual level. Thank you for the hospitality! My wife and I will definitely be back.
I was here for dinner recently and had an explosion! I learned about wild meat and I tried wild boar and Elch for the first time. The fresh organic products come from Crooked Sky Farms and it really adds a lot to the overall quality of the food. The Freedom potatoes with wild boar bacon bits were tasteful and delicious. The spicy jerk chicken was authentic the best I had recommended in years! You have a wide selection of beers Head to Tale Amber from OHSO brewery went well with the meal. The owners were very attentive and Victor ensured that we were satisfied with our food and service. His menu suggestions were perfect. Gabby, the cook, is very passionate about her food and it shows through her cooking. It was nice to meet her at the end of the meal. The restaurant had a cozy and friendly atmosphere with couches, TV and board games that encouraged us to stay awhile. Thanks for a nice evening, Victor and Gabby. It was a very open experience for this adventurous foodie. I'm back with the family!
We went to Wild Elk yesterday. It was a great experience. I've grown up hunting and eating wild meat. If you are the same you know it's difficult to find. We ended up getting about eight different types of Sliders. All of them were delicious obviously some were better than others. My favorite was the venison or the antelope. Highly recommend checking this place out it's a family-owned operation. Definitely try the hot seasoning a little goes a long way FYI.
