Shinme Sushi - Chandler

The restaurant was decent, and the sushi was quite good. The lighting was somewhat dim, which created a cozy atmosphere. There was only one waitress and the chef on duty, but the food was served promptly. However, I did receive someone else's order by mistake. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience, though nothing particularly exceptional.

The tempura was fantastic! The batter was light, the vegetables were crisp, and the shrimp was perfectly straight, which I really appreciated. The spicy crab roll was also delicious. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we took advantage of the Happy Hour prices on most of the rolls. It was definitely worth the trip, and we plan to return more frequently. We’ve tried three other restaurants in the Gilbert/Chandler area, and this one is our favorite. Having enjoyed amazing sushi in our previous state, we've become somewhat particular about our choices, and this place definitely meets our standards.

What a charming little spot! The ambiance was enhanced by soothing music, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed a sushi roll and a bowl of ramen, both beautifully prepared. Everything was delicious, and we will definitely return the next time we’re in the area!

The sushi wasn’t the best I’ve experienced. While it was freshly prepared, the flavors were just average, and there was a lot of rice in the rolls. I also wished the menu made it clearer which rolls were tempura fried, as it felt a bit misleading. On a positive note, we enjoyed the Nigori strawberry cloudy sake, which was sweet and delicious! Overall, I found the regular sushi prices to be quite high, so I might only return for happy hour.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! We’ve never been disappointed during our visits. The tuna is AMAZING and incredibly fresh, and I highly recommend starting with an order (or three) of gyoza! Shinme Sushi has become a favorite spot for us.
